Primer Condicional

First Conditional

La Primera Condicional describe situaciones reales o posibles en el futuro. Si se cumple la condición en la cláusula con "if", el resultado en la cláusula principal es probable. Estructura: If + presente simple, will + verbo base. Las dos cláusulas pueden ir en cualquier orden.

CUÁNDO USAR

Úsalo para situaciones futuras reales y posibles — cuando la condición es realista y probable. Común para advertencias, promesas, negociaciones y planes futuros que dependen de una condición.

ESTRUCTURA

positiveIf + present simple, will + base verb

If it rains tomorrow, I will stay at home.

**Si** mañana **llueve**, me **quedaré** en casa.

negativeIf + present simple, won't + base verb

If you don't study, you won't pass the exam.

**Si no estudias**, **no aprobarás** el examen.

ERRORES COMUNES

If it will rain tomorrow, I will stay home.

En la cláusula con if, usa el presente simple — NO "will"

If you study hard, you pass the exam.

If you study hard, you will pass the exam.

La cláusula de resultado necesita "will" en el primer condicional

Consejo

Recuerda: la cláusula con IF usa el presente (aunque se refiera al futuro). La cláusula de resultado usa WILL. Un truco para recordarlo: "If + present, will + future".
