Substantivos Contáveis e Incontáveis

Countable & Uncountable Nouns

Os substantivos contáveis podem ser contados e têm forma plural (one book, two books). Os incontáveis não podem ser contados individualmente e não têm plural (water, advice, information). Use "much" com incontáveis e "many" com contáveis.

QUANDO USAR

Use contáveis com a/an, números e many/few. Incontáveis com much/little/some/any, mas nunca diretamente com a/an ou números. Para contar incontáveis, use uma expressão de "recipiente" (a glass of water, a piece of advice).
