Comparative & Superlative
दो चीज़ों की तुलना करने के लिए तुलनात्मक रूप और एक चीज़ को समूह के बाकी सबसे तुलना करने के लिए उत्तमावस्था का उपयोग करें। छोटे विशेषण -er/-est जोड़ते हैं, लंबे विशेषण more/most का उपयोग करते हैं। अनियमित रूप: good/better/best और bad/worse/worst।
कब उपयोग करें
दो वस्तुओं या लोगों की तुलना के लिए तुलनात्मक (+ than) का उपयोग करें। किसी समूह में एक को बाकी सबसे तुलना करने के लिए उत्तमावस्था (the + est / the most) का उपयोग करें।

छोटे विशेषण (1 अक्षर) -er का उपयोग करते हैं, "more" का नहीं

"Good" की अनियमित उत्तमावस्था: best (most good नहीं)
सुझाव
मोटा नियम: 1-अक्षर के विशेषण → -er/-est जोड़ें। 3+ अक्षर के विशेषण → हमेशा more/most का उपयोग करें। 2-अक्षर के विशेषण → परिस्थिति पर निर्भर (शब्दकोश देखें या "happier", "more useful" जैसे सामान्य याद रखें)।
